Cupping Therapy: Cupping is a time-tested therapy used for reducing pain, muscle soreness/stiffness, and inflammation. It promotes increased blood flow for better healing, recovery, and relaxation. There are two main methods for cupping: static and dynamic. With static cupping, the cups are placed in the areas of complaint and left there for a period of time. With dynamic cupping, the cups are utilized with movement; either movement of the cups themselves or specific movements we guide the patient through to decrease symptoms and improve mobility. Dynamic cupping may even be used for certain types of nerve pain and nerve entrapments.

Soft Tissue Manipulation: This is more specific than massage therapy and focuses on a particular region or complaint. Methods used include Myofascial Release Therapy (active or passive), Trigger Point Therapy, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Post-Isometric Relaxation (PIR), Reciprocal Inhibition (RI), Vibration Therapy, and others.

Laser Therapy

Cold Laser Therapy—also known as Red Light Therapy, Photobiomodulation, and Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)—is a very well researched modality and is clinically proven to decrease pain and inflammation, as well as speed recovery following an injury or operation. We even have laser treatments for acne, non-invasive body contouring, and fat loss!
